Deluxe Co-Processor

Over the past week, me and Olivier Galibert ironed out several issues in the Seibu COP simulation. This includes Zero Team not crashing anymore and this one happening …

… and yes, this one means that both Raiden 2 and Raiden DX are now (almost?) working. I have doubts especially towards DX just because I haven’t yet checked out if beating properly Alpha Stage doesn’t have issues (and yes, it’s amusing having this kind of doubt now, compared to just one week ago).

Great work Kale. It’s made my day to see such great progress being made on this one. Raiden 2 was one of my favourite games in my local arcade. 😀 I know this ones been a real hard nut to crack, so congratulations to everyone involved. Keep up the great work, it’s much appreciated.

Thank you Kale. Raiden2 and DX is almost playable. But ZeroTeam still have a attack judgement issue. Player can attack enemy only from right side.If you at left side of enemy, you cannot hit the enemy, but enemy can hit you.

Just wanted to say thanks for putting up the W.I.P. stuff too. It’s always interesting to see how these things are tackled and develop. It also gives a great insight into what you guys are up against, and how resourceful you have to be. Must be a great feeling of achievement when you finally get to the bottom of how these things work.

This is amazing! What about Seibu Cup Soccer (I own the original PCB)? Thanks for your effort. Keep up the good work!

Seibu Cup Soccer is the hardest one of the bunch, COP was basically made with that in mind. It’s almost hopeless as current things go by, maybe I should really do a trojan with that in mind …
