Dumped on Main Page[edit]

Maybe we should put a link to Category:Dumped in the main page

IMHO no need, it is not the main aim of this wiki. Categories will anyway be available through normal website browsing. I would rather MOVE dumped games from the main Undumped list to a new page, or to a list in bottom of the Undumped list

Having a Dumped page would be interesting, to check in due time what has been done.

I agree with F205v, why shouldn't there be a page that follows the development of this website, like a "From Undumped To Dumped" page?

Again, the list can be done, but it is a different matter than a direct link in the home page as suggested in the first post. And again, moving the titles from Category:Undumped to Category:Dumped, and putting a link to this category in the bottom of the Undumped list should be more than enough for the aims of this wiki. No need for a special page, the Category:Dumped page already does the job...

IMHO a link to Category:Dumped at the bottom of the Undumped page sounds a little bit misleading; like clicking on start to end a PC session ;) The front page (down at the bottom) should be a more suitable place for it.

So, how should I mark a game as Iron Fortress (Eolith), which has been dumped and added to MAME? It doesn't have a page (yet), it's only listed in the comprehensive Undumped list.

Make a new page for it, put it into the "Dumped" category and take its name out of the main list.

BOT trying to spam[edit]

I see that the first BOT has been here, and that s_bastian had to revert it back. Is it time for a registered only editing permission?

Installed an antispam feature, let's see if it works.... :)
